Indian festival to host Iran’s ‘Braceball’

Iranian short ‘Braceball’ is to compete at the 2020 Int’l Children’s filmfest in India.

Iranian short title ‘Braceball’ has been selected to vie at the 12th edition of the International Children’s Film Festival (ICFF) in India.

Directed by Reihaneh Mortezaeenia, the short film narrates the story of a disabled child who loves to play football.

Despite the fact that the boy is disabled, he tries his best to make his dream come true.

‘Braceball’ is a production of the Iranian Youth Cinema Society.

The short title has previously won the Best Short Film Theme Childhood award at the 5th Atlantic International Film Festival in Colombia.

The ICFF aims to bring the right content focusing on moral values to the young audience.

It’s also an opportunity for children to pursue filmmaking and other creative careers.

The Festival will be held in the Indian city of Lucknow on April 15-23, 2020.
